Hello GIS Community,

Hello GIS Community,

Our long-awaited Jog-A-Thon is happening next week, and we are excited to share important details about how you can support your students and our school.

Dates
• Monday, April 13th - MYP Students
• Tuesday, April 14th - PYP Students
Times - During PE Classes

If you're wondering what a Jog-A-Thon is, it's a traditional school fundraising event that students look forward to every year. The event takes place during students' PE classes
and promotes healthy fitness goals. Students run laps on the field, and each lap completed contributes toward fundraising for our school. Funds raised help support sports equipment, classroom activities, and school events. To give you a clearer idea of how a Jog-A-Thon works, please take a moment to watch this short video explanation:
What is Schoolfundr? See how it works

While students are running, families come together to support this cause and help raise funds for our school community. Parent attendance during the event is not required.
This year, we are partnering with the company Schoolfundr, which allows families and supporters to contribute virtually, making participation easy and accessible. Please see
the details and instructions below. We kindly invite you to participate in this wonderful fundraiser. Our school community
thrives because of your continued support. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Additionally, this year's Jog-A-Thon will be especially meaningful as we celebrate the official opening of our new field. Our GCC CEO and Superintendent, Mr. Sample, will join us for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday at 8:45 AM. We warmly invite you to attend the ceremony and experience the new field track before the first PE class begins.
We hope to see you there!
