Hello, Hola, Bula, Privet, Salut! GIS is a TK-8th grade public charter school managed by Gateway Community Charters. GIS is open to all interested students and does not have entrance requirements. For example, students do not need to have high test scores or write essays to attend our school. We base enrollment on available space and lottery preferences per our charter. You can find those preferences on our enrollment page.

GIS is an authorized International Baccalaureate World School for Primary Years Program (TK-5th) and candidate school for Middle Years Program (6th-8th). Our students learn international mindedness by taking a world language class and learning from a global perspective. IB focuses on developing caring and open-minded students who take action to make the world a more peaceful place. GIS students are challenged with a rigorous curriculum and provided support to reach those learning goals.
